The Segadors (harvestmen) Trail recalls an important part of the history of Catalonia: when the Spanish troops stayed here and were cared for by the Catalans during the war against the French, which ended with the Treaty of the Pyrenees, the peasants rebelled against the demands and abuse of the soldiers. The first revolts took place after the looting and burning of towns such as Riudarenes, Santa Coloma de Farners and Amer.
The trail follows the route that the harvestmen followed when the revolt began. It begins in Santa Coloma de Farners and ends in Vidreres. It covers a distance of 17 km, passing the villages of Riudarenes and Sils that, like Santa Coloma, were protagonists in this period of Catalan history that inspired the National Anthem of Catalonia.
