In the middle of the mountains of Santa Coloma de Farners we can discover different buildings in a Romanesque style, which is very characteristic of our country. This itinerary will allow us to get to know a heritage that it’s really well known and loved by the people who live in Santa Coloma but quite unknown for visitors and which is located in a beautiful natural environment.
This itinerary is quite accessible since for the most part, the main route can be done by car and in most cases, the different points of interest are only a short walk away.
Along this trail you will be able to discover the chapel of Sant Pere Petit, the chapel of the Mare de Déu de Farners, the castle of Farners, the monastery of Sant Pere Cercada and the church of Santa Victòria de Sauleda. During the trail you will also enjoy the panoramic views of the town of Santa Coloma and the plain of La Selva and you will find several rocks which are characteristic of the Rocar like the rock of the grandfather and the rock of the ten cents.
