Go up to Farners castle

Although you can reach the foot of the castle and Farners hermitage by car, we encourage you to make the most of the impressive setting and park in the extensive car park in the Sant Salvador Park. Once you have parked, you only have to enter the park and follow the signposted route on foot, that will take you in 4 km to the castle.

This romanesque construction from the XI century, alongside the Vent hill, offer spectacular views of the plains of la Selva and part of the Guilleries. The castle, which is a small fortress, adapted to the terrain, was restored a few years ago and offers the possibility to go up the main tower and follow the route around the wall.
