Visit the Casa de la Paraula

The Casa de la Paraula is our town’s cultural central hub.

You can enjoy culture born in or linked to the town, with the desire to go beyond the natural limits of the town.

In this space, there are exhibitions of works by recognised authors such as the poet Joan Vinyoli (you can also follow his poetic route) and the painter Josep Beulas, as well as artists with links to the town exhibiting their work on a temporary basis.

Literary activities for adults and children, talks and presentations, and temporary exhibitions of local artists in any form related to creation and culture also take place here.

Located in the Can Gironès building, close to Farners Square, this is a modernist style house that was renovated several years ago to adapt it to the necessary requirements to make it fit for exhibitions. The façade and interior staircase retain the charm of the style that they were built in more than a century ago.

You can consult the current schedule and activities on the Casa de la Paraula website.
