Despite having references of it in the romanesque period, the current building is the result of a XVIII century reformation. It has a long nave and sloping façade. The door is arched, and the large low-arched, single bell gable on top of the façade stands out.
This is a local place of worship, where a yearly Aplec takes place, and it has recently undergone restoration. Attached to the side is a hermit’s house, which has also been restored.
This is a great observation point. From the foot of the hermitage you have an unobstructed view of the entire plains of la Selva.
You can freely access a covered and closed room, with a fireplace and table, that can be used as a free shelter. It is an obligatory stopping point on the Trail of the 10 Hermitages.
Practical information: can be visited. The church will remain closed except for when mass is celebrated.
