The old romanesque church was consecrated in 1183. Almost nothing remains of the original building, due to a series of reformations carried out between 1680 and 1743, which consisted in the construction of the current façade, the extension of the side chapels, the construction of the sacristy, a new high altar and a small bell tower on top of the façade.
It currently has an undefined style, a rectangular door with Baroque style ornaments, a porthole, sloping sides at different levels and a bell tower on top, with a pyramidal roof with windows. Abandoned for several years, worship was transferred to the Mare de Déu del Pedró church, but was recently restored and remains in a good state.
