Town Festival

The Town Festival of Santa Coloma de Farners takes place on the 24th of September. It takes place to honour the anniversary of the death of the local resident sant Dalmau Moner, who was a hermit and Dominican monk of the Girona convent.

During the festival, many musical, children’s, cultural, sporting and fun activities take place. The schedule includes shows aimed at young children: Giants and big heads, concerts at midday in the fair ground, children’s theatre and groups of entertainers. Adults can enjoy sardana dancing, havaneres, concerts and dances with renowned orchestras.

With the entire space dedicated to festivals and attractions, young people can have as much fun as small children with some of the highlights of this festival, because in the fair ground, located in the Sant Salvador Park, concerts and entertainment are offered every day until the early hours. A meeting and entertainment point that brings hundreds of locals and visitors together every year.
